  • As an independent wedding celebrant, there are no restrictions on what can be included in your ceremony. Whether you want a hand-fasting, a singalong, or a mid-ceremony shot; the choice is yours!

    Though I do not have a faith myself, I have the utmost respect for people who do. In this gorgeous melting pot of a world, inter-faith couples are becoming more common. With your guidance to do so in a way that is respectful and meaningful, I am more than happy to discuss inclusion of a song, ritual, or prayer from your faith.

  • By the time it comes to your wedding day, we’re basically besties. I’ll know you and your partner(s) so well by the time it comes to your big day that it will be like getting married by an old friend.

    I will only ever book one wedding per day. I’m very aware wedding day hiccups can happen that cause delays, but I will not leave until we’ve wowed your guests with the ceremony we created together!

    I’m there at least an hour before to calm any nerves, at the top of the aisle for reassurance, and I’ll hang around to help with guest wrangling for photos and furniture moving afterwards if needed. And to grab a cheeky beer if there’s one going…!

  • When a baby is born their birthday is the day they were born, not the day their parents filled out the paperwork at the town hall. Why should a wedding be any different?

    Wedding Law Reform for the UK is coming, but until then all you need to do is book a 2 by 2 ceremony at your nearest registry office to get the legal paperwork sorted before or after your wedding day.

    This way you are not limited to venues with a wedding licence that often carry a HEFTY price-tag. You can get married anywhere!

I'll be with you every step of the way. From the early planning stages, right up to delivering your ideal ceremony; allowing plenty of time to get to know you and your stories along the way.

What’s included in My Pricing?

Ceremony prices start at £750. All ceremony packages include:

  • Initial planning meeting (in person or online)

  • Bespoke couple questionnaire

  • Ritual exploration and ideas

  • Multiple script reviews

  • Help writing your vows (if required)

  • Regular email and phone contact

  • Delivery of ceremony on your day

Extra charges may apply for the following, but I will always be upfront and honest about these:

  • Fuel charge - £1 per mile outside of 35 mile radius of Sheffield

  • £80 accommodation charge if travel time to venue from Sheffield is over 2 hours.

  • Cost of ritual items you would like me to source/make e.g. Besom, hand fasting ribbons, quaiche cup etc.
